🖼 Marinesko Museum of the History of the Submarine Forces

      Кондратьевский пр., 83, корп. 1

The only state museum of the submarine fleet: models of boats, torpedoes, the hatch of a nuclear submarine and a submarine conning tower in the yard.

      • The museum opened on 27 October 1997 — nearby is the Bogoslovskoe Cemetery, where Alexander Marinesko is buried.
      • In 1998 the conning tower of the diesel submarine B-107, Project 641, was placed by the museum.
      • A bulkhead hatch from the nuclear submarine K-385 is built into the hall wall.
      • The collection holds about 13,500 items — more than half of them in storage.
      • The museum's second site is a centre for the history of radiation accident clean-up.
