      • Kronshlot, Kronstadt's first fort, was built in 1703–1704, and in summer 1704 its fire already stopped a Swedish squadron.
      • Fort Peter I was built in 1721–1724 to Peter's own plan.
      • 5,335 piles were driven under the foundation of Fort Alexander I; in 1845 it had 103 guns.
      • Fort Alexander I got the nickname "Plague Fort" after 1899, when a laboratory for anti-plague vaccines opened in it.
      • Fort Island Park opened to visitors on 8 August 2020.
      • The main exhibit of the Naval Glory Museum (2023) is K-3 Leninsky Komsomol, the first Soviet nuclear submarine.
