      🌳 Patriarch's Garden (Patriarshy Sad)

Владимир, Патриарший сад (вход с ул. Козлов Вал)

The city's oldest garden on the slope down to the Klyazma: terraces, fountains and views of the distant river meadows.

      • The garden is over 400 years old, but most of its plants were put in after the Great Patriotic War.
      • Today more than a hundred species of fruit trees and other plants grow here, the main one being cherry.
      • Legend has it that Prince Andrey Bogolyubsky brought the cherry saplings to Vladimir.
