✨ PandaPark rope park in Sokolniki

      1-й Лучевой просек (парк «Сокольники»)

A rope town among the trees with suspension bridges, zip lines and courses of different heights.

      • Sokolniki is named after the tsars' falconers, trainers of hunting falcons: Ivan the Terrible and Alexey Mikhailovich hunted here.
      • The layout, with clearings fanning out from the Sokolnichesky Circle, was completed in the 1840s and survives to this day.
      • In the late 19th century each clearing was planted with its own tree species: the 1st Luchevoy with birches, the 2nd and 6th with elms, the 3rd with poplars, the 4th with maples, the 5th with ashes.
      • The 4th Luchevoy clearing was cut in 1812 as the shortest way to Losiny Ostrov.
