      🖼 Vyacheslav Tikhonov House-Museum

      Павловский Посад, ул. Тихонова, 66

The house where Stirlitz of “Seventeen Moments of Spring” grew up: the actor's personal belongings, film stills and interactive halls.

      • Tikhonov was born here on 8 February 1928; the family lived in a two-storey wooden house with his grandfather and grandmother.
      • The actor's father worked as a mechanic at a weaving factory, his mother as a kindergarten teacher.
      • The museum opened on 25 August 2018, for the actor's 90th birthday; his daughter Anna Tikhonova proposed buying the house.
      • The exhibition includes the screenplay of “War and Peace” with Tikhonov's notes, film costumes, letters and state awards.
      • On 16 August 2019 Volodarsky Street, where the house stands, was renamed Tikhonov Street.
