      🖼 Chak-Chak Museum

      ул. Парижской Коммуны, 18А

A private museum in a wooden house: the life of a well-off Tatar family around 1900, which you can touch, and the story of the Tatars' best-known sweet.

      • The museum opened in September 2014, funded by Dmitry Polosin and Raushaniya Suleymanova from their own money.
      • It recreates the life of a well-off Tatar home of the late 19th and early 20th century.
      • Almost everything in the exhibition can be touched and tried out.
      • In the museum shop you can taste and buy chak-chak, baursak and kat-tosh made to an old recipe.
