        • The house was built in the first third of the 19th century and until the century's end belonged to the Zotov peasants, who became fish traders.
        • The building is protected as a regional monument — "inn (Zotov fishmongers' house)".
        • The residents were moved out in 1987; six years later the house was declared a monument, but conservation never began.
        • In January 2026 the city's 74% share of the house went to a private owner at auction, and in summer the building was fenced off.

        • The settlement appeared in 1715–1716, when Peter the Great settled about two hundred fishermen's families here to supply Petersburg with fish.
        • The 8.75-metre granite obelisk was erected in 1791 at Catherine II's wish.
        • Every fifth man of the settlement went to war: 38 men, of whom 33 returned.
        • The author is thought to be Antonio Rinaldi or Vallin de la Mothe; an identical obelisk stands in Ust-Izhora.
        • The plaque was torn off in 1917, restored in 1954, torn off again, and the present marble one was installed in 1989.

        • The village's old Pokrov Church was closed in 1934 and demolished; its site ended up under Rybatsky Avenue.
        • The church echoes the Church of Mary Magdalene in Darmstadt, built to a design by Leonty Benois in 1897–1903.
        • It was built from 2005 to 2016 on small donations: the parish had no major benefactor.
        • The church is 43.74 m tall, or 54.24 m above the level of the Neva.

        • The first, wooden Church of Alexander Nevsky was built here by decree of Peter the Great in 1711–1712.
        • The present stone church was built in 1798–1799 after a lightning fire; the architects are thought to be the Neelovs.
        • A 4.4-tonne bell was cast for the church.
        • At the start of the Siege, sappers blew up the bell tower so it wouldn't serve as a landmark for enemy artillery; in 1962 the dome collapsed.
        • Restoration began in 1987 with enthusiasts from NIIEFA; it was returned to believers on 15 July 1990, for the 750th anniversary of the battle.
        • The memorial chapel with a 9.7-metre bronze bust of Nevsky was consecrated in 2002.

        • The panoramic canvas was painted by the artist Igor Zhebrovsky: it recreates the 13th-century shore at the mouth of the Izhora, where the museum stands.
        • Beside the panorama are mannequins of Novgorod warband soldiers, a Swedish warrior's armour, shields and banners.
        • The battle took place on 15 July 1240; for the victory Prince Alexander Yaroslavich earned the nickname Nevsky.
        • The village of Ust-Izhora is first mentioned in the 1500 Cadastre Book of the Vod Pyatina.
