        • The stone church was built in 1728–1734 to a design by Mikhail Zemtsov.
        • The first, wooden, one was laid in 1712 in honour of the birth of Peter I's daughter Anna.
        • The bell tower is 47 metres tall; the spire was erected by the Dutch master Herman van Bolos.
        • The present Belinsky Street and bridge were formerly called Simeonovsky after the church.
        • In 1938 the church was closed and turned into a warehouse; it was returned to believers in 1990.

        • The sculpture was installed in autumn 2018 with money from a resident of the building; the author is the Petersburg sculptor Igor Senin.
        • It was officially unveiled on 26 November 2018, for the 30th anniversary of Vladimir Bortko's film; the director himself cut the ribbon.
        • Sharik here is still in his dog form — before the professor's operation.

        • Joseph Brodsky lived in flat No. 28 of this building from 1955 until he left the USSR in 1972.
        • The “A Room and a Half” museum officially opened in May 2020; the architectural concept was developed by Alexander Brodsky.
        • The foundation bought four of the communal flat's five rooms; the last, unbought one was walled off from the museum with a temporary partition.
        • The Muruzi House was built in 1874–1877 in the neo-Moorish style; the inscription on the gate repeats the motto of the emirs of the Alhambra.
        • Dmitry Merezhkovsky and Zinaida Gippius lived in this house for 23 years.
        • In the early 1920s the Petrograd House of Poets worked here on Nikolay Gumilyov's initiative.

        • The church was founded on 20 July 1775 to a design by Yury Felten and consecrated on 24 October 1779.
        • Felten gave the building two almost equal facades — onto Kirochnaya and onto Furshtatskaya.
        • In 1939 the church was converted into the Spartak cinema; from the mid-1980s the State Film Fund screened films here.
        • On 6 December 2002, soon after the decision to return the building to the Lutherans, a fire broke out inside and the church burned out.
        • The facades were restored in 2010.
