Right at the metro exit. Take coffee with you — further on there will only be parks.

        • The park covers 25 hectares.
        • Until 1971 the Kupchino dump was here; after it closed the site was reclaimed.
        • The park received its name in December 2020 — in memory of the soldiers who liberated Eastern Europe.
        • The neighbouring streets are named after cities liberated by the Red Army: Belgradskaya, Budapeshtskaya, Bukharestskaya, Prazhskaya, Sofiyskaya.

        🌳 Fyodorovsky Park
между Дунайским пр., Бухарестской ул., ул. Ярослава Гашека и Загребским бул.
A new landscaped park with a hill that locals call “Glory Hill”: a wasteland on the site of a dump was turned into a park by Dunayskaya metro.
Beyond Dunaysky Prospekt. Climb the hill — from the top you can see all of Kupchino; look for the stone with a quote from The Little Prince in the southeast corner. Dunayskaya metro is nearby.

        • The hill was heaped up from the soil of the foundation pits of neighbouring buildings.
        • The park was named in 2017 after the ophthalmologist Svyatoslav Fyodorov — the Eye Microsurgery branch is nearby.
        • In 2023 the landscaping project took first place at the national landscape architecture prize.
        • Work stopped in 2024 when rubbish from the old dump was found underground; the park opened on 17 October 2025.
        • In 2021 a stone with a quotation from “The Little Prince” was laid in a corner of the park.
