      🌳 Sormovsky Park

      Юбилейный бул.

A huge park of the 1930s on the site of the Daryinsky pine forest: pines, a lake, rides and the Krasnoye Sormovo Palace of Culture at the entrance.

      • The park was conceived in the 1920s together with the Palace of Culture of the Krasnoye Sormovo plant, and the final design was adopted in 1934.
      • The park covers 146 hectares.
      • Relict pines of the former Daryinsky forest, an oak grove and lime alleys survive here.
      • By the lake stands a 1970 stele "To the Glorious Memory of the Sormovo Revolutionaries" — on the site of secret workers' meetings.
