      A bank like a fairy-tale palace in the Neo-Russian style: it was opened for the 300th anniversary of the House of Romanov.

      • The complex was built in 1911–1913 to a design by the architect Vladimir Pokrovsky.
      • The occasions were the 50th anniversary of the State Bank in 1910 and the 300th anniversary of the House of Romanov in 1913.
      • The building was consecrated on 14 May 1913, and that same year Nicholas II came to Nizhny for the celebrations.
      • The complex includes the main building, a staff wing, a wrought-iron fence with a gate, and a clock-bell tower.
