        • The palace was built in 1931–1937 on the site of the demolished cathedral, walls and necropolis of the Simonov Monastery.
        • The design by the brothers Leonid and Alexander Vesnin was carried out only in part: the building for the large hall was never built.
        • According to the design, the building was to have a winter garden and an observatory on the roof.
        • In 1982 the Bolshoi Theatre soloist Gennady Ledyakh founded the Children's Ballet Theatre here, later the School of Classical Dance.
        • In 2008 the palace of culture was handed over to the city.

        • The quarter's master plan was developed by the studio Project Meganom.
        • The buildings were designed by different studios: Sergei Skuratov, SPEECH, Evgeny Gerasimov and Partners, and the building with round windows by Tsimailo Lyashenko and Partners.
        • In 2016 the quarter's streets were named after avant-garde artists and Constructivists: Varvara Stepanova, Melnikov, Leonidov.
        • The first four buildings were handed over in late 2018.
        • On 1 December 2025 the Zilart museum and exhibition centre opened here, based on Andrei Molchanov's collection of more than 8,000 items.

        • The 10-hectare park opened in late July 2018 on the site of ZIL's foundry shops.
        • It was designed by the American studio !Melk of Jerry van Eyck and Project Meganom; Van Eyck compared the park to Paris's La Villette.
        • During construction 250,000 cubic metres of soil were replaced.
        • The historic Tyufeleva Grove was a royal hunting ground: Alexei Mikhailovich, Peter I and Catherine II came here.
        • Nearby was Liza's Pond, named after Karamzin's novella Poor Liza (1792).
        • The grove disappeared after 1916, when construction of the AMO car plant, the future ZIL, began here.
