👶 With kids🏛 History and architecture🌳 Parks and nature🚆 Out of town
      👶 7–12, 13+ years · ✗ hard with a stroller

The Pushkin Trail is dirt with small bridges and climbs, and muddy after rain; better to leave the stroller at home. Platforms are high, and in Zakharovo a staircase leads to the exit

        • Little Pushkin was brought here every summer from 1805 to 1810.

        • From Pushkin's time the driveway alleys, ponds and lime-tree park have survived.
        • In 2005 a monument to Maria Gannibal with young Pushkin by the Voronezh sculptor A. E. Kozinin was installed at the estate.

        • In Vyazemy a stone bridge of the 1820s spans the Vyazyomka River, and a dam on it was built back by decree of Boris Godunov.

        • The man of letters Stepan Shevyryov sorted the huge estate library, and Gogol visited him here in 1849.
        • According to legend, it was here, at a ball, that Pushkin first saw Natalya Goncharova.
