        An observation deck at a height of 327 m in the Federation Tower, with views over all of Moscow through glass walls.
        From Delovoy Tsentr metro via exit 1, a couple of minutes to the Federation Tower, ticket office on level −2. The viewing deck is open until 21:00 Mon–Thu and Sun, until 22:00 Fri and Sat — arrive no later than 20:00. In low cloud it looks as if the City lights are floating.

        • The deck opened in April 2018 on the 89th floor of the Vostok Tower; the venue itself claims to be the highest in Europe.
        • The Vostok Tower, 374 m tall, is the second tallest building in Europe after St Petersburg's Lakhta Center.
        • The Federation complex was designed by Sergey Choban and Peter Schweger.
        • The pouring of the foundation slab in February 2006, 14,000 cubic metres of concrete, entered the Guinness Book of Records.
        • The complex has 67 lifts, some of them twin systems with two cabins in one shaft.
        • The deck has an ice cream museum, and its mascot is a polar bear named Panoramych.

        A six-storey shopping centre at the base of Moscow City with an exit straight from Vystavochnaya metro: shops, restaurants and a cinema under one roof.
        Come down from the viewing deck and it’s 3 minutes to Afimall: six floors under a roof, where you can warm up, have a coffee or go to the cinema. Open until 22:00, on Friday and Saturday until 23:00.

        • Afimall City opened in 2011 in the central core of the Moscow City business district.
        • From the lobby of Vystavochnaya station there is an exit directly into the shopping centre, to Expocentre and to the embankment.
        • The centre has six floors of shops, cafés and restaurants.

        The neighbouring OKO tower, 85th floor: borscht and duck from a real wood oven, and the restaurant has an ice bar at −15 °C. Book a table ahead; on Fridays and Saturdays it’s open until 02:00.

        Go down and it’s 3 minutes to the foot of the towers: a two-storey English pub with draught beer and live music in the evenings.
