        • The village of Kuryanovo belonged to the Moscow sovereigns and was part of the Kolomna palace district.
        • In the 1930s the villagers were resettled to Novokuryanovo to make way for the aeration station.
        • The settlement for the station workers was designed by the architects V. N. Brovchenko and Yu. S. Bochkov with the engineer R. S. Feigelman.
        • Kuryanovo joined Moscow in 1960; the village's name survives in the names of the 1st–4th Kuryanovskaya streets and the boulevard.

        • The monastery is first mentioned in the cadastral books of 1573/74 — at that time it stood "empty", in ruins.
        • In the late 17th century Patriarch Adrian made the monastery a summer residence and in 1700 consecrated a new St Nicholas Cathedral.
        • From the 1660s the monastery owned the Iveron Chapel by the Resurrection Gate on Red Square — the main source of its income.
        • The Perervinsky Seminary opened here in 1775, and on 9 May of that year Catherine II visited the monastery.
        • In 1812 the French occupied the monastery for more than a month and ate and slept in the lower St Sergius church.
        • In the 1830s the architect Mikhail Bove rebuilt the cell buildings in a uniform Empire style.
        • The Iveron Cathedral by the architect Pyotr Vinogradov was consecrated on 7 September 1908.
        • In the late 1960s the cathedral was adapted as a factory workshop and divided into three floors with concrete slabs.

        • Before Peter the Great's time the village was called Godunovo — after its owner Grigory Petrovich Godunov.
        • The palace's owner Nikolay Durasov was famed for his hospitality: according to a contemporary, he kept sturgeon and huge pineapples at the ready.
        • The main house is a free variation on the Palladian Villa Rotonda; the author is thought to be I. V. Egotov, but there are no documents.
        • According to legend, Durasov repeated in the house's plan the order he had received — the Cross of St Anna.
        • The palace's ceilings and interiors were painted by Domenico Scotti.
        • In the summer of 1866 Dostoevsky lived in Lyublino: here he wrote the fifth chapter of "Crime and Punishment".
        • The old park was destroyed by a tornado in 1904.
