      ⏱ 1 h 20 min🚶 2.1 km🍽 0📍 4 stops
      🐢 A little — under 3 km

The old church of the former village of Spas, the hills and little bridges of the landscape park, a pond on the site of a vanished village — a calm walk on the green edge of a young district.

👶 With kids🌳 Parks and nature🏘 Off the centre⏱ An hour or so
      👶 under 3, 3–6, 7–12 years · ✓ stroller-friendly

The landscape park has asphalt and gentle slopes up the hills, and the little bridges have no steps. There are playgrounds along the way. At Volokolamskaya the lift is only at exit 2; at Pyatnitskoye Shosse there are lifts.

        • The park is called a landscape park because of its elevation changes — up to 30 meters.
        • It was laid out in 2003 to a design by Mosproekt-3 in the canyon of the Baryshikha river.
        • The Great Volokolamsk Road ran here until it lost its importance in the 17th century, when cargo began going to New Jerusalem.
        • The Vskhodnya nature reserve in the south of Mitino brings together 32 archaeological sites.
        • Sobyanin opened the renovated park in late summer 2018.

        • In the middle of the park are the Big and Small Penyaginsky ponds on the Baryshikha river.
        • The village of Penyagino has been known since 1744; in the mid-19th century it had 35 households and ponds of its own.
        • The village was resettled and almost entirely demolished in the 1990s to make way for a Mitino residential district.
        • A wooden terrace with sun loungers and changing cabins was built by the pond.
