🏛 Glory Square and the "Music of Glory" Memorial
        Волгоградский пр. / Зеленодольская ул.
A memorial for the 60th anniversary of Victory: the granite "Wreath of Victory", the "Pyramid of Memory" and seven silvery "Fanfares" 21 metres tall.
In autumn the fountains are off, but you can still see the “Pyramid of Memory” and the “Fanfares”. Walk all the way round the bowl.
        📖 More about the placeCollapse
        • The complex opened on 7 May 2005 for the 60th anniversary of Victory; the head of the design team was the architect Yuri Platonov.
        • The four faces of the "Pyramid of Memory" symbolise the four years of the war.
        • The "Fanfares of Victory" are seven columns of different heights with military flags, up to 21 metres.
        • In summer it is one of the largest fountains in Europe: the cascading jets stand for tears and memory, the jets shooting upward for a salute.
