        • Designed by the architect Evgeny Stamo and the engineer Alexander Markelov, 1970s.
        • The ring is assembled from standard I-515/9M series panels, each turned no more than 6° to the next.
        • There are two such buildings in Moscow: this one and one on Nezhinskaya Street; this one has 936 apartments.
        • The legend of a block of five "Olympic rings" for the 1980 Olympics is just a legend.

        • The stone church was built in 1644–1645 to a design by the Nizhny Novgorod architect Antipa Konstantinov.
        • It is a tented church — the kind built until 1653, when Patriarch Nikon banned tented roofs.
        • In the late 14th century, at the confluence of the Setun and Ramenka, Metropolitan Cyprian had a country residence here.
        • In 1812 Napoleon's soldiers made a stable in the church, and the old iconostasis was lost in a fire.
        • After the closure in 1939 the iconostasis was taken by Sergey Eisenstein for filming "Ivan the Terrible" — it was never returned.
        • In Soviet years the church housed a warehouse of a cardboard factory, State Radio and TV offices, and a waste paper collection point.
        • According to legend, the huge oak by the Ionin spring was planted by Metropolitan Jonah himself; it was cut down for firewood in the winter of 1941.

        • Built in 2011 to a design by Sergei Skuratov.
        • Two pairs of "slab plus tower" were originally planned; one was built.
        • The architect replaced the tower's smooth curve with a stepped one so as not to repeat Sweden's Turning Torso.
        • The height was limited so the tower would not spoil the panorama of Novodevichy Convent.
