        • Construction of the stone church began in 1893, and it was consecrated in 1894.
        • According to tradition, on 13 July 1873, during a cholera epidemic, the icon of St Sergius of Radonezh tore itself from the monks' hands — after that the epidemic retreated.
        • Until 1764 the village belonged to the Ascension Monastery in the Kremlin.
        • In 1936 the church was closed and turned into a warehouse, and the wooden Annunciation church next to it was dismantled for a cowshed.

        • The Chermyanka is a right tributary of the Yauza and the main river of Bibirevo: about 20 km in all, about 10 km of it in Moscow.
        • The name probably comes from the ancient word "chyrmyn", meaning red: the water may have turned red from iron-rich clays.
        • The villages of Podushkino, Yurlovo, Saburovo, Kozeyevo and Medvedkovo stood on its banks.
        • On a 1952 map of Moscow the river is labelled Cheryomushka.

        • In the 19th century there was a village here called Podushkino, with 27 households.
        • In 2012 wooden bridges across the river and a plank embankment were built.
        • There is a chapel in the park in honour of Sts Anthony and Theodosius of the Caves.
        • In 1983 a segment of the children's comedy series "Yeralash" was filmed here.
