      🌳 Yuzhnoye Butovo Landscape Park

      The largest park outside the MKAD ring road: a valley with a cascade of ponds, little bridges and a separate children's park.

      • The 142.5-hectare park opened in August 2018.
      • The village of Chernevo and the hamlet of Gavrikovo used to stand here; an early-19th-century orchard survived until the 1950s.
      • The stone Church of the Nativity of Christ by the Chernevo ponds was built in 1722.
      • The cascade of the Chernevo and Gavrikovo ponds covers 19.5 hectares of water, and 24 duck houses were set up on the ponds.
      • Part of the park is protected as the garden-and-park art monument "Chernevo Estate".
      • A light metro line crosses the park, with stations Ulitsa Gorchakova and Buninskaya Alleya.
