      🖼 Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery

      ул. Пречистенка, 19/11, стр. 1

The Academy of Arts exhibition complex in an old estate on Prechistenka: halls with Tsereteli's portraits and enamels and a glass atrium filled with huge bronze figures — kids like it here more than adults expect.

      • The gallery opened in 2001 in the former Dolgorukov estate, a late-18th to 19th-century landmark.
      • It is the museum and exhibition complex of the Russian Academy of Arts, which Tsereteli headed for almost thirty years.
      • The covered atrium holds bronze sculptures many metres tall; photography is freely allowed.
      • A separate display is copies of ancient sculpture made from models in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
      • Zurab Tsereteli (1934–2025) is the author of the monument to Peter the Great on the Moskva River and the sculptures on Manezhnaya Square.
