      🏛 Nosov Mansion on Elektrozavodskaya

      Электрозаводская ул., 12

A wooden Art Nouveau mansion of 1903 by the architect Kekushev — a rare example of Art Nouveau in wood in Moscow, next to the Nosovs' factory.

      • The house was built in 1903 to a design by L. N. Kekushev for the merchant Vasily Dmitrievich Nosov.
      • The Nosovs owned the neighbouring textile factory: shawls, down blankets, cloth for the army.
      • The merchant built the new house when his son married Efimia Ryabushinskaya and inherited the old estate.
      • The building is a cultural heritage site of federal significance.
