      • The park and beach appeared soon after the construction of the Moscow Canal in the 1930s.
      • In 1977 an episode of the film "School Waltz" was shot here: the characters come to relax on the city beach.
      • The park got the name "Levoberezhny" in 2015 following a vote on the Active Citizen portal.
      • A wooden-decked embankment stretches along the beach, with a 200 m pergola for resting in the shade.
      • The Soyuz skate park is named after the Soviet hotel Soyuz that stood nearby on Levoberezhnaya Street.
