      🏛 Russian Army Theatre

      • The building was constructed in 1934–1940 to a design by Karo Alabyan and Vasily Simbirtsev.
      • In plan the theatre is a five-pointed star, with columns surrounding it on all sides.
      • The theatre's large stage is one of the biggest in Europe.
      • The star shape is best seen from above — from the ground only its faces are noticeable.
