      A small 18th-century garden with a fountain of a girl and a monument to Derzhavin, a quiet spot among old mansions.

      • The garden was laid out by General Alexei Letsky next to his estate; locals changed "Letsky" into "Lyadskoy".
      • In 1798 Emperor Paul I stayed at Letsky's estate.
      • The fountain of a girl with a jug was installed to mark Kazan's first water supply in 1874.
      • The spherical fountain of the 1970s is nicknamed "the apple" by locals.
      • In 2003 a monument to Derzhavin, a copy of a lost 19th-century monument, was erected at the entrance.
