      A wooden outbuilding where the Ulyanov family lived in 1888–1889: furnished rooms and documents of the Kazan student Lenin.

      • The museum opened on 7 November 1937, for the 20th anniversary of the revolution.
      • The Ulyanov family rented an apartment in the outbuilding from September 1888 to May 1889.
      • In August 1887 Vladimir Ulyanov entered Kazan University, and in December he was expelled and exiled to Kokushkino.
      • The estate belonged to the city council official Timofei Orlov; the wooden outbuilding was built in 1872.
