      • Innopolis was founded on 9 June 2012 and officially opened exactly three years later, on 9 June 2015.
      • It is one of the few cities in post-Soviet Russia built from scratch.
      • Innopolis is one of Russia's four science cities, along with Skolkovo and Novosibirsk's Koltsovo.
      • The Popov Technopark has room for more than 2,000 workplaces and houses the offices of resident companies.
      • Since August 2018 a Yandex driverless taxi has been running in the city.
      • The first residents registered in Innopolis in August 2014.
