      🏛 UrFU Main Building

      The colonnade of the main building of the Ural Polytechnic — the end of Prospekt Lenina and the heart of the student district of Vtuzgorodok.

      • The buildings of the Ural Polytechnic Institute were put up from 1929 to 1956.
      • In front of the building is a 4.3-hectare garden square on Kirova Square.
      • It is now the main teaching building of Ural Federal University.
      • The monument to Kirov, after whom the square is named, was put up in 1983.
