      The former Palace of Culture of the Uralmash plant — a huge Modernist palace above the park on Festivalnaya Street.

      • The first club for the plant’s builders was a wooden one, in the 1920s.
      • The present palace was designed after 1965 — the earlier design was rejected during the campaign against architectural “excesses”.
      • It now houses the Sverdlovsk Regional Palace of Folk Art.
